Students at Louisville High School, under the guidance of their teacher Caleb Schulze, have created two benches for their school using plastic wood made from community-recycled plastics. This project is part of the Hefty Orange Bag pilot program, in collaboration with Builders of the Future and First Star Recycling. The program transforms non-recyclable plastics collected in orange bags into plastic wood boards. First Star Recycling is donating these boards to 16 schools for various projects. Stay tuned for more innovative student creations!
